Renewals
Don't let your plan auto-renew without a look
Most plans renew automatically. That's convenient, and it's also how people end up paying more for less.
What changes every year
- Price. Premiums and your tax credit can both move.
- Network. Doctors and hospitals join and leave.
- Drug list. A medication can change tiers or drop off.
- Your life. Income, family size and health all affect what's best.
The five-minute check
Open your renewal notice. Compare next year's premium, deductible and out-of-pocket max with this year's. Search your doctors and prescriptions on the insurer's site. If anything moved, it's worth a comparison.
Current clients: book a renewal review and we'll re-shop it for you.
